Parveen Shakir is not only a famous urdu poetess but also a government employee. Her date of birth is 24th November, 1952. Parveen Shakir home town is Karachi. Her father name is Syed Shakir Hassan. She had a passion towards poetry and saying in her early age. Parveen Shakir participated in urdu poetry even in school and has a great response. She also appear in Radio Pakistan. She has a great sense of humour. After completion of her education, She join Pakistan Custom Department and become a government servant. She carry both Poetry and job. Parveen Shakir Education:-

Parveen Shakir passed his matriculation exam in 1966 and after two year she got degree of F.A 1968. In 1971
Parveen Shakir pass the exam of BA (Honour) and after this she has the master degree of M.A English from Karachi University in 1972. Parveen Shakir was a brilliant and like student. She has two master degrees in her bag one is Master in English Literature and the other one Linguistics. She has a job of instructor for a longer period of time then she decided go to Civil Service and Parveen Shakir joined Custom Department.

Parveen Shakir Career:-

Parveen Shakir has the germs of writing in her childhood. She wrote her first volume with the name of KHUSHBU, in 1976 which is very famous in the viewers. During the 80’s, Parveen Shakir wrote many books like KHUD KALAMI, SAD BARG and KAFI-I-AINA. That is the surprising new for the people that Parveen Shakir also wrote urdu columns and the other shocking news is that she got Pride of Performance award in Literature.

Parveen Shakir personal life:-

Parveen Shakir married with a Pakistani Doctor, Syed Naseer Ali and they had a one child which name is Syed Murad Ali but unfortunately marriage can not stay long. She is upset after her whole life. on 26 December, 1994 was died in a road accident.

He told the journalist that her mother Parveen Shakir was a very busy lady but also spent lot of time with him and that time which was me and my mother, is a asset of my whole life. Not many people knows that Parveen Shakir child Syed Murad Ali Shah nickname is Geetu. She loves her child but unfortunately After the seperation of Parveen Shakir and her husband, Geetu can not have the proper attention. She was upset her whole life. on 26 December, 1994 was died in a road accident. Parveen Shakir Said in her famous ghazal.
